Acorn Manor (“The Company”) is a company limited by guarantee. The company was formed about 20 years ago for the sole purpose of providing education for the pupils of Oakington Manor Primary School.

The Company continues to provide additional funding, that is not normally available from the Government, towards improving of schools infrastructure, provision of excellent IT facilities, additional educational material and facilitate the provision of an educational environment fit for the 21^st century.

Acorn Manor operates:

• Acorn Nursery – a private nursery that operates within the boundaries of Oakington Manor Primary School. It proves nursery places to children from 5 months to 5 years old.
• Letting of school premises – school premises are let at competitive prices for parties, communal gathering / meetings, religious festivities and regular sporting activities. Oakington Manor Primary is also a licensed venue for civil wedding ceremonies. We also have personal license holders who ensure compliance of activities within the legal frame work.
• Catering operations – the company runs production kitchens currently at  various sites and employ in excess of 25 staff to facilitate this operation.
